Founded in 1964 by Jack Turman, Turman Construction Company, Inc. has grown to become one of the most well-respected general engineering contracting companies in Kern County. Our reputation for quality work, attention to details, and personal relationships with every client has been our key to success. Jack's oldest son Jeff joined the company in 1978 following his degree completion in Civil Engineering. After the two worked nearly twenty years together Jack retired in 1996 and Jeff took over leading this company for the past 16 years. This company is a family business equipped with not only well-trained operators, mechanics, and servicemen that are able to provide our clients with the excellent service they deserve and expect, but also with a family tradition that provides a way of doing business that has earned respect across the board.
